FOFCAI Adult Education Program Details

But now you also must complete the doing of it: that as there was a readiness to desire it, so there also may be a completion out of what you have.

2 Corinthians 8:11 (NKJV)

Image of a question mark Families of Faith Christian Academy International (FOFCAI) was founded for parents who are called to oversee the education of their children. A system of checks and balances was developed to ensure that all students working from home are meeting the same academic and rigorous standards that students in a traditional classroom are required to meet before credit is issued.

For a studnt to earn a high school diploma, there are specific graduation requirements in English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Performing Fine Arts, Personal Fitness and total credits. In addition, there are minimum guidelines for the student's GPA, and evaluation levels that must be met as well.

The Adult Graduation Program offered by FOFCAI is designed to give movtivated adult students a method of completing their high school graduation requirements without the time and travel constraints of returning to a traditonal classroom.

Overview of the Adult Program

1) Obtain a copy of your most recent high school transcript.
This allows the guidance office to develop a detailed academic plan, based on the graduation requirements at the time the student entered high school for the first time. Students must complete a minimum of one academic semester (which is equal to three high school credits) to graduate from Families of Faith Christian Academy International.

2) Schedule an appointment or conference with the guidance office.
The appointment can be in person at the school's appointment office in Lakeland, by phone or web conference. This will allow the student to know the full extent of course requirements, testing and FLEX options before completing the enrollment process or paying of any fees. Families of Faith Christian Academy International is a Christian school, and, as such, all students are required to complete at least one Bible or Bibilcal World View course.

3) Complete the enrollment process.     Enrollment Form

The student will be provided a username and password for accessing the school's virtual online course system. All course materials needed are provided through the online interface. All course work, quizzes and tests are monitored and graded by Families of Faith Christian Academy International staff.
