Homeschool Transcript

Families of Faith Christian Academy International can provid "Certified" transcripts for homeschoolers who need them for enlistment in the U.S. Army Reserves, and/or colleges that required them. Families of Faith Christian Academy International has created a step-by-step guide for home-based parents to document their student's academic record. Once the "High School Course/Credit Questionnaire" has been completed, a "Sealed copies will be provided for submission to colleges, universities, trade schools, and/ or the U.S. militiary as needed.

Families of Faith Christian Academy International is listed by FDOE in Polk County; the school number is 1375.

Preparing the high school transcript is a four-step process.
Step One: Request The High School Course/Credit Questionnaire.
Families of Faith Christian Academy has prepared a detailed questionnaire to determine what credits the student has earned. While families may have used many different curricula, all Florida high school courses have a detailed course description and a specific course code. Did the student use the Alpha Omega Lifepacs Language Arts Level 9 for ninth grade English or did they use Bob Jones Writing and Grammar? The answer will tell the guidance counselor whether the student took 1001310 English I or 1001320 English I Honors. Most home-based students take some courses at home, but may have taken some through the Florida Virtual School (FLVS), a local co-op or dual enrollment at a local Community or State College. Those courses need to be collected into the transcript so a complete record of high school is listed on the transcript. Add to that end-of-year assessments or standardized tests. Our questionnaire is designed to guide the parent through the process of documenting all legitimate courses the student has completed, even electives that they may not know should be listed.

Step Two: Submit the Questionnaire to Families of Faith Christian Academy International for Evaluation.
Once the questionnaire has been submitted to Families of Faith Christian Academy, an individual guidance counselor will begin the process of matching the course work to the proper course code and transferring that information to the student's transcript. During the process, additional questions may be directed to the family as needed to assure that the transcript is as complete and accurate as possible.

Step Three: Completed Transcript Sent to the Family for Review.
To ensure that all the information provided has been properly translated, a final draft of the transcript is sent to the family for review.

The total cost for the questionnaire, course review and final transcript is $149.00. If you have additional questions or to order a questionnaire, please contact the school office.

The best method of communicating with the school office is by e-mail.
